In the last few months, I had the privilege of being the editor-in-chief of the focus issue of Rethinkinglaw on the topic of my heart and dissertation, DAOs. Now the issue is finally finished and I am really a little bit proud of the result.
My goal was to give the general legal public a deep insight into how this new form of organization works, to present actual use cases, and not just to address the often abstract legal problems. Thanks to excellent contributions by Markus Büch, Kai Kremer, Dr. Biyan Mienert and Florian Glatz, among others, I believe this has been achieved.

Wir zeichnen im Papier die Entwicklung rund um Bitcoin der letzten Jahre nach und skizzieren dabei die Entstehung der verschiedenen digitalen Währung in vier Wellen. Das Papier soll als Informationsgrundlage für Entscheider dienen und die Grundlage für die weitere Diskussion über den digitalen Euro und die Regulierung von Kryptowährungen bilden.
